<p>Green River is seeking a creative, curious, diligent, and technically adept analyst to join our growing data team. We are a technical services, software engineering, and data analytics firm with a deep commitment to helping organizations realize social impact. Your role will be to work with our clients to understand how data can be used to measure and communicate performance, foster continuous improvement, and drive outcomes. You will also collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and UX designers to help deliver highly functional solutions.</p> <p><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead sessions with organizations to set shared understanding of goals.</p> </li> <li> <p>Research and identify relevant data available for investigation and analysis. </p> </li> <li> <p>Navigate between technical, programmatic, and executive conversations while maintaining a focus on organizational outcomes and user needs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Recommend key performance indicators for priority goals.</p> </li> <li> <p>Design dashboards, visualizations, and reports to interpret indicators and generate insight.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist with setting technical specifications for data integration and analysis operations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure privacy and security policies and procedures are rigorously followed.</p> </li> </ul> <p><em>What is an organization trying to achieve? How can data help? </em>From identifying and solving internal operational challenges, to crafting evocative data-derived public stories, your job will be to help our impact-driven clients be successful.</p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree, applicable to business analytics, data analysis, analytics engineering, or data science.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and business leader audiences.</p> </li> <li> <p>3 - 5 years' experience with business intelligence strategies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Significant experience using BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio, Superset and/or Quicksight.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data in databases via SQL, CSV and spreadsheets. </p> </li> <li> <p>2+ years working remotely.</p> </li> <li> <p>Facility with analytical programming languages such as R and Python is a plus.</p> </li> </ul> <p>Green River is a 100% employee owned, fully remote company.
