<strong>Overview<br><br></strong>The EDAP Domain Architect serves as the technical and architectural owner for the enterprise’s data platforms, including Snowflake, Sigma, Dataiku, SAP BW, and SAP Analytics Cloud. This role ensures EDAP’s architecture is intentional, scalable, governed, and aligned to enterprise strategy.<br><br>This role is critical in shaping the architecture, governance, and data flow patterns that support consistent, trusted data and scalable insight delivery across the organization, while maintaining clear boundaries between EDAP platforms and domain-owned systems.<br><br>The role also plays a key part in advancing EDAP’s capabilities in the AI space, defining how enterprise data is structured, governed, and activated to support scalable AI solutions and evolving business needs. The Domain Architect will drive architectural decisions that enable practical, production-ready AI use cases while maintaining long-term flexibility and reuse of data assets.<br><br><ul><li>Own architecture across EDAP platforms, ensuring performance, security, reliability, and scalability </li><li>Define and maintain architecture for Snowflake as the enterprise analytics backbone</li><li>Establish patterns for data ingestion, transformation, curation, and semantic modeling</li><li>Define and govern data movement, minimizing duplication and clarifying systems of record versus systems of reference</li><li>Evaluate integrations between EDAP platforms and source systems such as SAP, IDW, and external platforms</li><li>Lead solution architecture during intake and delivery, partnering with engineering, analytics, and product teams</li><li>Enable scalable and governed data access for analytics and operational use cases across the enterprise</li><li>Ensure privacy, compliance, and governance requirements are represented in platform architecture</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of data models, platform performance, and architecture standards</li><li>Architect AI-ready data foundations, defining scalable, governed structures that support current and future AI use cases <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities And Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>10+ years of experience in architecture, data engineering, or platform engineering within enterprise environments</li><li>Demonstrated experience designing and delivering data-focused AI solutions in enterprise environments</li><li>5+ years of experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake</li><li>5+ years of experience using SQL to transform, model, and optimize large-scale datasets</li><li>5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS</li><li>Strong expertise in enterprise data modeling, governance, and integration patterns</li><li>Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable, long-term technical solutions</li><li>Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams</li><li>Familiarity with enterprise analytics and data platforms such as SAP BW, SAC, Sigma, or Dataiku</li><li>Experience developing data engineering solutions in Python, including transformation pipelines and data processing workflows <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Closing<br><br></strong><strong>At REI, we believe the outdoors is for all.</strong> We are committed to becoming a fully inclusive, anti-racist, multicultural organization.
