Interior Designer | Model Home Merchandising
Location: Remote working, preferably based on the East Coast of the United States (Must be based in the United States)
Working Style: Full-time, Remote working style (Eastern time zone)

This is an opportunity to join a nationally recognized design team creating model homes and amenity spaces that do more than look beautiful; they influence how people connect with a space and envision their future in it.

We are seeking an Interior Designer with a strong eye for detail, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead projects from concept through installation. In this role, you will collaborate with a talented creative team while taking ownership of high-impact model home projects across the country. Core Job Duties

  • Prepare for and attend kick-off meetings, obtaining all necessary information to complete the project according to the client directive and company standards
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director team, leveraging their feedback and guidance through the design process to ensure the best product is delivered and installed
  • Design model home projects as assigned by the leadership team, according to client directive and outlined parameters indicated by the leadership team
  • Attend and present project presentations with clients as requested or directed
  • Complete interior selections for model home projects, including but not limited to flooring, paint, lighting, countertops, cabinets, hardware, appliances, tile, and any other decorative materials, per the project scope and requirements
  • Complete all project drafting as required per company policy and as needed in collaboration with our drafting department to complete the finish schedule documents, providing the client with necessary and accurate information for construction and development.
  • Manage all assigned projects from kickoff to completion, meeting deadlines as assigned and communicating internally and externally in a timely and professional manner
  • Accurately record timesheet and expense report information as required by company policy
Qualifications
  • Interior Design Degree, or a degree from related field
  • 3 to 5 years’ of interior design experience, with experience in model home merchandising
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, including PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
