<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Support Assistant to assist our litigation department supporting attorneys handling active litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have experience with civil litigation procedures, legal documentation, discovery processes, and case management systems in a fast-paced legal environment.</p><hr><h5>Responsibilities:</h5><ul><li><p>Draft responses to written discovery, including form interrogatories, special interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.</p></li><li><p>Draft propounded discovery tailored to case strategy and theory.</p></li><li><p>Prepare Judicial Council and local court forms, including:</p></li><li><p>Summarize medical records and prepare medical chronologies.</p></li><li><p>Perform Bates stamping, document production preparation, and privilege log organization.</p></li><li><p>Organize deposition exhibits and prepare binders for hearings and depositions.</p></li><li><p>Draft subpoenas and follow up on records requests.</p></li><li><p>Maintain Filevine activity logs and organized case files.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, and hearing reminders.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and e-file Notices of Settlement and Requests for Dismissal.</p></li><li><p>Update Filevine calendars and coordinate attorney availability.</p></li><li><p>Manage court reservation systems (CRS) for motions and ex parte hearings.</p></li></ul><hr><h5>Requirements</h5><ul><li><p>Experience supporting litigation attorneys and active litigation cases.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and legal documentation.</p></li><li><p>Experience drafting discovery and court-related documents.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with Filevine or similar case management software preferred.</p></li><li><p>Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote environment.</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.</p></li><li><p>Experience with California civil litigation procedures preferred.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with e-filing systems and court reservation systems.</p></li></ul>
