ABOUT THE ROLE FOX is seeking a Product Manager, Editorial to join the Consumer Products & Engineering team. This role focuses on integrating AI-driven capabilities into the CMS and Video CMS to improve newsroom efficiency, editorial quality, and speed to publish. You will partner closely with editorial, engineering, design, and data teams to bring practical, responsible AI features into daily newsroom workflows. This role supports a flagship CMS used daily by more than a thousand reporters, producers, and editors across FOX Weather, Sports, Business, News, and 18 local FOX Television Stations. In addition, this role will take ownership of product documentation strategy, ensuring clarity, usability, and adoption across all stakeholder groups. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES • Define and evolve the product roadmap for CMS and Video CMS platforms, with a strong emphasis on AI-enabled editorial workflows, content intelligence, and automation. • Identify opportunities where AI enhances content creation, enrichment, publishing, discovery, and quality assurance across newsroom operations. • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to design, test, and ship AI-powered features such as content suggestions, metadata enrichment, summarization, tagging, validation, and workflow automation. • Prioritize and manage a backlog of AI and non-AI features, experiments, and technical improvements with an Agile delivery team. • Work directly with reporters, editors, and producers to observe workflows, evaluate AI feature adoption, and identify friction points. • Translate editorial needs into clear product requirements for AI systems, including model inputs, outputs, guardrails, confidence indicators, and human-in-the-loop review. • Own and scale product documentation, including product specs, workflows, system behaviors, and user-facing guidance to ensure consistency and accessibility across teams. • Establish documentation standards and best practices, ensuring all features and systems are clearly documented for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Partner with training, editorial, and change management teams to create and maintain documentation that supports onboarding, adoption, and ongoing product education. • Collaborate with Senior Product Managers to align AI initiatives with business goals, editorial standards, and platform strategy. • Drive internal alignment and trust around AI capabilities, including transparency, editorial control, and responsible use. • Partner with Product Managers across FOX business units to share AI patterns, platform capabilities, and reusable services. • Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Engineering and Infrastructure teams supporting AI features. • Contribute to training materials and change-management efforts to support newsroom adoption of AI tools. WHAT YOU WILL NEED • Experience in digital technology within a Product, Strategy, or Editorial Systems role. • Strong product judgment with the ability to balance editorial needs, technical complexity, and long-term platform health. • Demonstrated success delivering products through cross-functional collaboration. • Comfort operating in fast-moving editorial environments with frequent deadlines and shifting priorities. • Technical fluency and the ability to work closely with engineers, data scientists, and platform teams. • Experience writing clear user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria. • Strong experience creating and maintaining product documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guidance. • Ability to translate complex systems into clear, structured, and accessible documentation for diverse audiences. • Strong empathy for newsroom users and a passion for solving real editorial problems. • Proven stakeholder management across editorial, business, marketing, and engineering teams. • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or OpenAI platforms to improve workflows, user experience, or operational efficiency. • Familiarity with AI concepts including prompts, evaluation, confidence signals, human review loops, and responsible deployment in content systems.
