Vitale Nursing, Inc. is seeking compassionate, skilled, and professional Private Duty Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our concierge-level home health team. We specialize in one-on-one in-home and post-operative care, providing the highest standard of nursing support for patients and families.

Position Overview

As a Private Duty RN, you will:

  • Deliver individualized, patient-focused care in private residences or hotel recovery settings
  • Provide post-operative support, including monitoring and wound care
  • Manage long-term private duty assignments in high-profile households
  • Support hospice and palliative care patients
  • Assist patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide medication management including reminders, administration, and monitoring for safety and effectiveness
  • Conduct skilled nursing home visits and clinical assessments

Preferred Clinical Experience

  • IV insertion and blood draws (highly preferred)
  • Post-operative recovery, wound care, G-tube, and stroke patient management
  • Tracheostomy and ventilator care
  • PICC line/Port-a-cath management
  • Medication administration and monitoring
  • Comfort with COVID-19 patient care if needed

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid California RN License
  • Current BLS Certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making in urgent situations
  • Punctuality, professionalism, and trustworthiness
  • Excellent communication and bedside manner
  • Three professional references
  • Proof of Malpractice Insurance
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Rate: $65 – $70 per hour
  • Employment Types: Full-time & Part-time available
  • Shifts: Day and Night shifts
  • Schedule: Monday–Sunday, with weekend opportunities as needed

Required Documentation

  • Valid California RN license
  • Two forms of identification (Driver’s License/Passport and Social Security card)
  • Signed employee agreement (provided during hiring)
  • Completed application (provided during hiring)
  • Physical exam and TB test (within 1 year)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster (or plan to obtain)
  • Proof of Malpractice Insurance
