Senior SAP Technical Consultant - Public Sector

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in leading technical oversight on a major public sector government modernization project while also contributing to the growth of our Technology Consulting Practice Area.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Acting as the primary point of contact for expert advice in a major ERP Migration project, ensuring all requirements are met.</li> <li>Leading the project team to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services for the ERP migration project, ensuring high-quality assessments and deliverables.</li> <li>Proactively solving complex client problems throughout all phases of project delivery, from initiation to execution.</li> <li>Managing project teams focused on architecture, software design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and project assurance.</li> <li>Identifying issues and blockers early and surfacing root causes to peers and leadership.</li> <li>Supporting business development by helping to draft proposal responses and understanding competitive positioning.</li> </ul> <p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience with large-scale cloud-based ERP system implementations or technical project management, particularly in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA RISE Migration.</li> <li>Quality Assurance/IV&V experience in HR/Financial system implementation projects.</li> <li>5+ years of relevant experience in project management, implementation, or quality assurance services for state governments.</li> <li>Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.</li> <li>Strong ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.</li> <li>Willingness to travel 25% regionally and occasionally nationwide.</li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred Technical Skills:</b></p> <ul> <li>Deep knowledge of various SAP modules and integration.</li> <li>Strong understanding of SAP architecture, methodologies, and data modeling.</li> <li>Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions and migration strategies.</li> <li>Proficiency in SAP integration tools and database technologies, particularly SAP HANA.</li> <li>Familiarity with programming languages such as ABAP and Java.</li> </ul> <p>This position is hybrid with possible travel.
