Job Summary:

We are seeking a System Administrator for a full time remote role. The System Administration Support team provides technical support to employees and keeps our core corporate services running. You will handle employee tickets, identity and access, endpoint management, and server and application support. You should be comfortable meeting and exceeding SLAs and communicating clearly with users. This role includes a fair rotating on-call schedule for priority incidents.

Essential Job Functions:

· Work the helpdesk queue during your shift, keep users updated, and hit response and resolution targets

· Administer Azure AD and on prem AD, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP, and Microsoft 365 including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint

· Set up and support Windows and macOS laptops, enroll and manage Macs with Kandji and Apple Business Manager, partner with the depot on swaps and new hire kits

· Fix sign in and access issues for common SaaS tools like Jira and Confluence, GitHub, Netsuite, Box, VPN, and simple IIS or SQL items

· Handle secure credentials and LastPass Enterprise requests, follow HIPAA and SOC 2 practices, help gather audit evidence when needed

· Write and update runbooks and knowledge base articles, reduce repeat issues with simple automation using PowerShell or Bash

· Join incident calls when needed, take part in the on call rotation, and help with post incident clean up

Qualifications:

· High school diploma required. Degree preferred or equivalent experience and certifications

· 5+ years of IT or system administration experience, including 3+ years in a customer facing support role

· Hands on with Windows 10 and 11, macOS, iOS and Android, and modern browsers (Edge, Chrome, Safari, Firefox)

· Administration experience with Azure AD and Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365/Outlook

· Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016 or newer, IIS, SQL Server, and basic networking and VPN

· Experience with ticketing systems and asset management

· Preferred- PowerShell or Bash for automation, Intune or Jamf or Kandji, Apple Business Manager, backup tools such as Veeam or Backup Exec, monitoring such as PRTG, SSO standards such as SAML or OIDC
