Telemedicine Physician - Weight Loss - 1099/Remote

[Actively Hiring] We’re always looking for talented, high-performing, and passionate Board Certified Telemedicine Physicians to join our growing network of care through You Health Medical Groups.

Telehealth providers serving patients on the Hims & Hers platform are employed by You Health Medical Groups. The Hims & Hers Telemedicine team handles the business operations, allowing you to concentrate on delivering top-notch patient care. Providers must reside in the continental US to access the Hims & Hers platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality, asynchronous care by assessing, screening, diagnosing, prescribing, and titrating medication for patients as necessary
  • Uphold unparalleled clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care on the platform
  • Provide clinical care for weight loss
  • Adhere to Hims and Hers platform guidelines and policies and complete all required training

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree (MD/DO)
  • Board Certification: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine. Additional certification in Obesity Medicine is a strong plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in clinical practice, exclusive of orientation/training: experience with weight loss treatments is a strong plus.
  • 2+ active medical state licenses in good standing
  • Willingness to work more than 10+ hours per week
  • Strong diagnostic skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Comfortable providing care asynchronously. Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
  • Caring, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
  • Please Note: You Health is not able to consider Board Eligible Physicians. Applicants must be Board Certified
